Wi-Fi in Orlando- Stay Connected

January 22, 2016

wireless-signal-1119306_640Nowadays asking for the Wi-Fi password is more common than asking for a glass of water when you arrive at friend’s house, a restaurant or… a theme park, of course. The need to be connected is real and can’t be ignored. Here in Orlando guests want to post real-time pictures of their Disney adventure, snapchat their first sip of Harry Potter’s Butterbeer, and of course, use their GPS to guide them back home to their hotel.

So guests are usually curious about places in Orlando that do have Wi-Fi and how well do they work. We put together this post to answer some of these questions for you!

Walt Disney World:  Wi-Fi is available in the majority of public spaces, including:

To access complimentary Wi-Fi, simply select the
Walt Disney World Resort network from a Wi-Fi enabled device.

Universal Orlando: They also provide free Wi-Fi throughout both parks, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure and at City Walk!

Sea World Orlando:  There is Wi-Fi at Sea World, but not in the whole park. You can check out the park’s map for where the Wi-Fi is available. The Wi-Fi icon present on the legend at the bottom right of the map will be indicating at which attractions and areas you can get a connection at. There are only a few places where the internet won’t quite work like the Sea of Legends area where Kraken and Journey to Atlantis are and the Sea of Shallows where Manta and some of the animal encounters are!

Shopping places:

Premium Outlets:The Wi-Fi at the outlets is only guaranteed at their local Starbucks and a few single stores.

Florida Mall: They have Wi-Fi. It can be a bit hit and miss, but it works. If it fails, they also have a Starbucks.

The Mall at Millenia: There is Wi-Fi in the mall, but it’s also not very reliable. Bloomingdales has a good connection of their own and so does Starbucks, again.
